what is the cost of your centerpiece

Original post by 1nicetouch

my florist told me that the average cost of a high centerpiece would be 150-300
my questions is what is the price that you think it is

Filler is key!

If a florist can use lots of filler and it will make the cp look full and beautiful... but picky me I hate filler and I didn't like any of it with my colors.

I've seen some very similar to mine that are full and gorgeous but about $60 cheaper, just because of filler

Our low CPs were $85 each.

Mine are 75 each.

They look just like this except with brown branches... hanging crystal strands, hanging votives, votives on the table.

oh if you dont mind could you tell me what florist you are using??

i want to do something a little similar as you for my centerpieces. except i want my gold branches that are not as high with the same candles hanging from it but with flowers around the base and i am wondering if since these are only $75 if i could get what i want for around $100 (i would use roses)

i think what it comes down to is the type of flower you are using, weather it is in season..etc, and the vase or any extras like crystals and such. So one may say a tall centerpiece was only 100 where as someone else got tall ones for 200...

i think our are about 150 each? (have to check my contract) and we have high CPs with ivory roses, blue dendrobium orchids, ostrich feathers and hanging crystals... haven't seen the sample yet.. going in 2 weeks

I paid $67 for one big and two tiny low centerpieces. We still have people complimenting our center pieces 6 months after

i didn't do my centerpieces yet, and I probably won't for another month. Trying to go with the whole Christmas theme, rather than flowers so we'll see - as soon as all Christmas stuff comes out. I'm not planning on spending a great amount on each one though.

Ha ha, our centerpieces are like $25 each. I'm just doing simple floral arrangements with a bow. Roses and chocolate gerbers. I didn't want to spend too much on that.
