How do they work??? I am thinking maybe about getting BM dresses through these but I am nervous and I don't know how my BMs would feel about it...just trying to get an idea of what its all about! TIA

I bought my BM gowns from Netbride.com. They're AWESOME!!!
Go on the website and request a quote. Give them the info they need I think it's mfg. style number, etc. They'll e-mail you back in a couple of days with the price.
I rec'd my gowns in less time than they quoted. We saved close to $100/gown - it all depends on what you order. My MOH is a seamstress so she altered her own gown and my BM brought her's to her regular tailor.

I believe Phyllis at Gownfind does alterations, but I used Netbride.

If you get your dresses from gownfind, Phyllis will measure your girls and then order the dress direct from the manufacturer. She'll save you a decent amount of money. If you go to Phyllis' website, you can get her email. Send her an email with the designer and style # and she'll get back to you with the price.

I ordered my BM gowns from Gownfind. I actually received a better rate from Netbride, but I spoke to Phyllis and she matched the price. I liked the fact that Phyllis is local and she caps her BM alterations at $45! I saved approx. $100 per dress!!

I got a quote from netbride for my BM dresses that with shipping was the same price as getting them at RK bridal.
Don't forget about shipping costs.

I ordered the bridesmaid dresses from netbride. They each saved over $65 this way. I have not received the dresses yet (date given is in February), but I can say that their customer service has been great so far.

You mean for BMs, right? I really hope you don't mean the bride because she told me $150 is the cap for the bride's alterations. (Which is still really good, in my opinion.)

i'm using phyllis. she's done 2 alterations for me in the past and they were great. they're capped (for BMs) at $45.
one of my girls went today to get measured. she is so much cheaper than anywhere else and will do the alterations at a much cheaper cost than regular stores. she'll even mail BM dresses to out of town BMs for a nominal fee.
and her prices include tax. my BM dress is only $129 as opposed to $177 PLUS tax at the store.
totally worth it. and better than netbride because you have someone local to do alterations. netbride might be a bit cheaper but you have to find someone to alter
