What is the difference between Focus and Precana?

Did all girls have to do Focus and Pre Cana and what is the difference?

i had to do both...

when i signed up through the RVC diocese, they emailed me a FOCCUS ID and password.

Foccus is a test that you take seperately from your FH online, they will discuss the results with us at Pre Cana.

Well the priest seperated us when we met with him and asked us both a series of questions. (I dont think it was 100 questions though).

I guess that is enough since after we met with priest, he put our date in the book and gave us information on pre-cana.

yes i believe you have to do both to get married in a catholic church. We took the foccus test at our church, in separate rooms. it was 100 ?'s or more.. We went over the test results a few weeks later with the priest, and he told us what areas we need to discuss on our own.

We did a 1 day eight hour pre-cana, instead of each week. IT was actually a nice experience.

We went to the church spoke with the priest separately. Then took a test and met with a FOCCUS couple.

After that we took pre-cana 'classes' with a host couple and 3 other couples.

im getting married in a catholic church but we only had to do pre-cana we did not have to do the focus test.. I think each church may be difference

i think only rockville center diocese requires foccus

the foccus comes before the pre cana.

I am taking the foccus with FH on the 10th at my church.
