$250 absolute max, but I'd rather keep it under that.
Really only my maid of honor is paying for her own dress (my sister is my only bridesmaid, and as she's only 16 my parents will be covering her dress), so I'm basically just going to ask her what her comfort level is, and stick with that, but I'd never ask her to spend more than $250, regardless, unless it was a dress that SHE chose and fell in love with and really wanted to buy for herself.

All my Bms are my sisters and my FH sister so I am not too worried - they are family. I looked at dresses and they are about 285 plus alterations.
