What is the most expensive makeup you have purchased?
I totally bit the bullet this past weekend and bought the SK-II air touch foundation (sort of like your own airbrush thing sold at Saks). It cost a fortune, literally, but it takes about 30 seconds to do every morning and it doesn't look like I am wearing much but I am all even skin-toned and glowy! I still can't believe I spent that much though on something....

Prolly like $75 on a moisturiser...my foundation runs $50, my mascara is $30, and everything else I usually buy cheap....it depends on what I like!

I like good products don't get me wrong but I can't see myself spending much on makeup. I stick to Clinique products. It's affordable and good makeup. Luckily, where I work I have a Estee Lauder outlet which has Bobbie Brown, Mac, Origins, Stila, and Prescriptives makeup so I go there and get stuff at a steal!

Girls you have to try the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation. Its the most amazing foundation I've ever used. And I do makeup for a living. It's $55 and well worth it.. Its not heavy, looks totally natural, and stays on. Its also tear proof because its silicone base.
I think its the best foundation out on the market.
FYI Water based foundations are broken doen with water (i.e. tear streaks down your face)
Silicone based foundations won't streak as easily from crying..the tears will go OVER the makeup and not through it.
Its only at Saks and Bloomies I think. But that brand is very fast growing.

I spent $45 on Nars powder foundation. It was good, but now I'm using Clinique Almost Powder which is a little lighter.

I am a makeup fiend!! I am not sure of the most expensive product but I am thinking it was my Kevin Aucoin foundation which was $45. Anything by him is amazing, he was the best and his products do not disappoint! His mascara is the best I have ever owned.

I splurged and got some Hour Glass products- spent about 150 on some foundation/powder and a lip gloss!!!! It is really nice but I wont make it a habit to buy it. ( its from sephora)

I have all cheap junk although I do want to get some good stuff. The most I spent was recently on products for washing and moisturizing....it's called Dermologica and I love it. I really recommend it. Does anyone else use them?

My Bare Minerals foundation is like $25, and sometimes I get the Bare Minerals kits for like $60 for face, $30something for eyeshadows. I spend $50 on my Philosophy skincare set though. It doesn't really work, but it keeps the acne reasonably under control, so I keep shelling out lol.

That has to be the BEST primer I have ever used. That stuff is amazing!! It even keeps cream shadows on your eyes!!

I love the oli control mattifier from them! I have the greasiest skin and this stuff really helps!!

OMG Ladies!! I'm seeing how much everyone spends and that's a lot!! I use everything Mary Kay and my skin and makeup has never been better...seriously...and I'm not just saying that because I sell it!! I sell it because it's AMAZING!! Our foundation is widely used in the makeup industry by many celebrity makeup artists (we have makeup artist tips all over E! right now, where the makeup artists are using our line) and it's only $14!!! I swear it's the best I've ever used. And they just switched over all of the rest of the makeup to mineral powder...which I LOVE!!
