I can't pick just one, so I'll say 'all of the above' as well.

Homeland security is the topic that is going to be discussed the most because of 9/11. I think the canidate that can convince the most people that they will make this country safer is the one that will win.

I want a canidate who will build a wall between US and Mexico and post armed guards every 1000' or so... either of them say that?

DH just said neither candidate has the guts to do that but he likes the idea. As a diehard conservative who plans to vote for Bush, he said if Kerry could absolutely guarantee that he'd get his vote.

DH and I both think homeland security is most important, afterall, if we're not safe in our own nation, none of the rest matters - who cares about the economy or education if you're dead!

I guess the war in Iraq and finding Bin Laden count as Homeland Security so I voted for that.

I also think economy is very important - probably both would tie for 1st with me.

I think the most important thing is to have someone who will protect and defend our constitutional rights, scale back the US PATRIOT Act and restore the Bill of Rights. I alos think it's important that the U.S not act like and be seen as bullies and imperialists. We need to uphold human rights and use our standing to be a beacon of hope, not something feared.

The chances of gettign killed in a terrorist attack in the US in

2000, 2002, 2003: ZERO
2001: 1 in 100,000
(you're still more likely to kill yourself than get killed in a terror attack. Remember that. And none of it adds up to even close to the number of innocent civillian lives taken in Iraq by our 'smart' bombs.
