what is the one song you want played at your wedding?
Besides your first dance and your mother/father dances, what is the one song that you have made note of that has to be played at your wedding? I ask bc Stolen by Dashboard Confessionals just came on my ipod and im like tearing up and texting FH it has to be played. hahahaha

We went to karaoke once and while my fiance' IS a singer, he always gets shy & doesn't like to sing in that kind of setting.... anyway, he surprised me and sang this song

We Didn't Start the Fire. My friends, brother, parents, and I are really big Billy Joel fans. FH not so much, but the one and ONLY time I did karaoke I sang this with FH and some friends.

For me, I really want Bohemian Rhapsody. It's an inside thing with friends.
FH wants Suavemente by Elvis Crispo. I wonder if anyone else knows this song.
But really.. we're hoping FH's uncles come to the reception. His two uncles were in the original Menudo and have already offered to sing a modern song or two if they attend. We'd love it, because of how close FH is with them.

That's cool about his uncles! I don't remember their music much but I rem my mom telling me I had crushes on some of the boys that were in the group.. have no idea which 1s since they changed so often lol

They do :) FH has hung out behind stage where he was once, and I'm so jealous - even if he's gay. he's hot. But that's cause the age old adage is true.

A must play is Woolly Bully by Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs. My father and my grandmother who is deceased loved to dance to this song.

Now that you type it out.. I can actually understand the song. Maybe I should google its lyrics.
FH loves singing that song, as well as dancing to it :)
Yeah, the group is age-capped, but they were the first group so they live on. FH is hoping they will come to the wedding, especially as he's close to them - but he's afraid they'll wind up touring (on reunion).
