I think its the bridal shower!! I find it so amusing that women flock to these things and some actually LOVE to see the gifts you get! Everytime I go to one, the bride dreads the gift part, but you always have that one table of ladies who sits there and talks about who got who what and makes remarks! Oh mi god and the traditions!! Like the funny one about the penny and the knife, which I only learned about last year and lord only knows if its a real tradition lol...
The other thing about weddings that makes me laugh are the guest that typically only get drunk at weddings and dance like its their job!!! I find them so amusing!!

the traditions!!!! omg my mom wants me to have a 'lazo' around Marcel and I! its used to symbolized the union is like a rope lol around you lol oh god! If anyone is doing this i apologized! but I just don't see myself following tradition i have enough with wearing a veil!!!!! and white dress! lol

i would say the garter toss lol even though were not doing it-i would be too embarassed
but i love the presents at showers!! i always want to ooh and aah over every little thing i swear i could watch someone open presents for hoursssss

the garter toss is funny... until of course a little 8-9 year old girl catches the bouquet, then when the garter is tossed, all the guys watch it hit the floor and just stare at it............

and no one picks it up..............

then suddenly its awkward.............

then the DJ just starts to play music, and the garter toss was a complete waste of time.
