He is alittle slow on the uptake sometimes....like when I'm driving somewhere and he's the navigator last minute he will say 'oh you were supposed to turn there!' COMPLETELY irritating!

for some reason this is so funny to me

Lets see Fh is OCD so everything has to be in a particular order. I am the complete opposite so for me its a bit much lol...his clothes have to be folded a particular way, his closet all the hangers have to face the same way, certain clothes get two hangers, they are in order...he puts them in categories, colors, seasons and all that...me i just throw them wherever lol.

He has a thing about the bed being made before he gets into it...even before he goes to bed he has to lay on top of the covers first before he can get under and during the day only on top of the covers...I am the complete opposite, i always have to have the covers on.

and the list goes on with the OCD lol. It also has its benefits because he'll make the bed and organize things. Its funny bc the MOMENT we walk into my house when we get home from work he says I am sorry but i have to make the bed, and im like hey you go right ahead and do that, i have no problem

HAHAHA, my FH is TOTALLY OCD too. I have an arm chair full of clothes that he constantly tells me to put away (his arm chair is always empty). We also have like 4 different sponges in the kitchen...one for the dishes, one for the sink, one for the counter, one for the stove. I always forget which is which and he gets so mad when i use the wrong sponge for the wrong location.

Whenever I try to be good and clean something down, he'll clean it down AGAIN to make sure it's wiped down to his standards.

All our hangers have to be the same color and size. And if I need more hangers and the only ones available are a different color, the different colored ones have to be grouped together, in the back of the closet.

OMG!! this is my FH!!! i mean a different sponge for every part of out 12x5 kitchen and then 3 more for our itty bitty bathroom but hey i wont complain because when he cleans boy does he clean! and forget the closet and laundry with the folds and iron im more the wash and wear type. but hey if our worse complaint is that they clean i think we're doing ok!

He is a storm cloud.

He always sees the negative in every situation. He can see potential disaster a mile away. It is infuriating.

But it is also pretty great sometimes - it grounds me. I never think of the possible negative repercussions of my words or deeds... but he is there to fill me in so that I can make more informed decisions.

Story of my life!!!!

Ok there are a few things:

well what drives me crazy the most is that it takes forever for him to do something... so I'll remind him here nad there and bring it up, and he always makes me feel like I'm just nagging... well if you'd just get it done int he first place I wouldn't have to nag! And then sometimes, after telling him he needs to do somethign for a week, I'll tell him again and he'll be like 'you just thought of that now?!?'

And he is also one of those anti-picture taking people. He haaaaates getting his picture taken, and I'm like, well how hard is it to stand next to me and smile

Another thing that drives me nuts is that whenever there is anything airplane related on TV, I can't talk to him... I'll say somethng and he'll be like 'shh, listen'... well I don't want to listen because I don't give a crap! And also TV related...he likes to zap through the channels, so he'll stop for a few minutes on one channel, then I start getting into whatever is on, then he changes it! And during commercials he always zaps and we end up missing the next few minutes of the show.

Thats about it...nothing I can't live with...good thing his good qualities more than male up for his faults

Sounds like my FH too!! I feel your pain! This happens mostly with sporting events coinciding with family events...but he IS getting better!!

So yeah that's one...the other? He makes it a point to fart REALLY loudly. Sorry for the gross TMI. He's very proud of this 'talent.' He tell me I should be happy for him because he 'feels better' after he does it. He no longer feels 'the pain of gas.'

I know there's something else...OH! When I'm mad at him, he tries to act like nothing's wrong by asking me all sorts of questions and making small talk.

Gotta love him!

there isn't just one thing for me. I could write a book! we are almost complete opposites.

it drives me crazy when he wants to constantly be around me, cuddle, and know everything that is going on 24/7 in my life!

how he doesn't understand how obnoxious he gets while drinking!

how when he gets upset if I stay out late, or drink to much one night, or smoke (not cigs!) tells me how bad it is for me. I have parents already I don't need more! lol. at least though I can see how good of a parent he'll be. but i'm almost 24 not a child!!!!

then of course the jealously thing which he is getting better at.

along with these how he doesn't understand our wedding is supposed to be nice and elegant! he acts like it's going to be a night out at the bar with his boys. he wanted to give liquor as a favor!

it also drives me crazy when he shaves, before he does that he clips his hair and it's everywhere in the bathroom. does he clean it? NOPE!

and last when he finally has days off he has to sleep most of the day, and usually drinks the night before. *sighs* usually staying up till 3 am drinking here with his boys, playing guitar hero!!!

Hmmm...one that he's really loud. This might sound really bad but I've had domestic violence complaints and police come to my apartment just because he talks so loud people think he's yelling at me.

He's a complete bear he tries to hug and hold all the time, even in bed at night, im more of a solo sleeper and yeah that can become a hardship.

Oh yeah and did I mention whatever he takes off is left right where gravity left it. He leaves everything everywhere... one of the most embarrassing times was when I had someone over and they went to use the computer and there were boxers on the floor rt under the chair/computer desk completely like someone just dropped their pants. I was mortified.

He bites his nails. He has been doing this I guess forever and he had stopped for a while but now that the wedding is getting closer and closer he does it more and more. It drives me crazy!

my fh does that! I'm like stop it our wedding pictures as he puts the ring on my finger is gonna look horrible. all bitten up. he thinks the camera won't pick up his bitten, nasty finger nails. *sighs*

LOL I'd have to agree with you on the chewing. FH chews like a cow when hes got gum in his mouth....but thankfully its only with gum and not with food. BUT it drives me nuts!

Just one table manner that drives me insane...if he's eating soup he slurps ahhhhh it's almost like nails on a chalkboard!!!! That's one of my only pet peaves like that about him though so not too bad, I bet he has more about me

FH is a HUGE procrastinator.... I love him to death, but i know if i need something done now - i have to do it myself...

Ok, I'm going to use this as my way of cleansing myself and curbing my urge to punch FH in the face.

In with the good OUTTTTTT with the bad.

Some of 'the bad':

1. He gets lost. every. time. He once called me when he was 2 blocks away from our apartment. Couldn't figure out where he was. How the freak is that possible? I can NEVER EVER EVER go to sleep if we're driving somewhere because if I do, we'll wind up in east-bumble-you-know-where.

2. He leaves a LAKE of water around the bathroom sink. After he washes his face there is always a puddle of water around the sink. Mop it up!!!!! Sheesh!

3. He splatters toothpaste all over the bathroom mirror. How does that happen?!!!! I windex the bathroom window everyday.

I know there are other pet peeves....I just gotta think of them.

How in the wooooorld does that happen HAHAH. He needs to get a GPS...best investment I ever bought FH (well until I had to buy him another one because he thought it was 'safe' to leave it on his dashboard in broud daylight in the middle of Brooklyn and then his car got broken into and it got stolen ).

That brings me to another pet peeve, he never thinks of things that 'can possibly happen' (case in point his GPS getting stolen)...he thinks that I'm like a worry wart (is that the proper term?). After that happened I told him are you kidding me WHY in the world would you keep that propped up on your dashboard for the world to know you have in the middle of Brooklyn while you're at work?????

See, this is ME and not FH Well I do wipe it up but now and then I miss a few spots of water on the sink....like FH's toothpaste gets wet or something. This really gets on his nerves. I try!!!

This is coming up at a bad time, right now FH is home in a cast driving me crazy. He definatly plays the poor helpless me card very good.

when he SCREAMS at the Mets while watching the game. Like they can hear him...

Keeps the toilet seat up!!!
