What is the one thing that you HAVE to do on vacation in order to brag to your friends about the vacation??

Someone asked me this question today and I thought it was interesting... except I cant decide on an answer... thought it would be fun to hear what all of you think

That is a strange question. I go on vacation to relax and get away with my DH. I don't think I have ever thought about doing something on vacation just so I could brag to my friends about it.

Exactly!!

The word brag is really so negative. I associated it with showing off-- like ha ha look what I have and you don't.

Agreed - if someone calls me bragging to say look what I did - they wouldn't be my friend....

unless you don't mean brag - you mean something else????

let's assume you didn't mean it negatively!!!!

i would say, when i go on vacation, i have to get as much in as possible...when i get back, i like to have lots of stories about all the wonderful/diverse things we did...

Im not the bragging type - but everytime I see someone with a tan - makes me want to take a vacation :)

The last time I went on vacation I came back engaged, that's gonna be pretty hard to top.

Whenever someone asked how my cruise was, I would either say, 'It rocked' or 'I got stoned.'

I have to veto the 'brag' but really just being away from the everyday is enough for me

I've never thought about bragging as a MUST. That's sort of funny.
I got engaged last year on vacation, but it wasn't even my doing so I didn't have to do it.
I am a beach bum, I want to do almost nothing on vacation, except maybe get drunk!
