process like getting a mortgage, meeting with the co op board, etc.. and whatever else might be involved

Its the same exact process of buying the house.

The only difference is you have to schedule a meeting with the co-op board after you get your committment from the bank (which is usually about 2-4 weeks before you close).

where are you in oakland gdns, is it on union tpke?
do the units have washer/dryer? if they dont have them, can you get them put in?

I am in Windsor Park that are 6 story building that run between Union Turnpike and 73rd Avenue between Bell and 210st.

They don't allow washers and dryers in the units (they have them in the basement). Dishwashers are OK.
