Seriously! We even gave people the option of RSVPing on our wedding website if sending the card back was so difficult, and SO many people haven't even done THAT!!

we are going to call 2 days after they are due (it's the closest weekend to the date and we are busy the weekend after that!!)

Don't worry about etiquette, because those people obviously didn't. I divided the list out and had my parents call their guests, and FH and I each emailed/texted/called ours. We are down to 5 unknowns (with 17 days left), who have been asked a few times, but haven't given a firm answer. One is for a legit reason, but the other 4 are just being a PITA.

UGH! This is SO annoying. I already told EVERYBODY if you don't RSVP by the date, I will NOT track you down, you will be marked as a NO. This may seem brash but if we are that big of an inconvenience to your life that you can't make a decision in that time frame then I don't care if you are there.

My hotel just called to tell me that the 'block' on the hotel rooms is lifted after August 1st (my RSVP date) and only one person reserved a room so far!

CONTACT THEM HUTNT THEM DOWN SHOOT THEM then if they dont reply give up. If they come make them look like a fool for not rsvping when they show up and have no place card!! My rsvp date was July 1 I am still WAITING for responces !!

we had what we thought was a surprising amount of people not RSVP at all. we waited 3 days after the RSVP date and contacted people either ourselves or had our parents do it. people would lie and say they sent it, then we would get it a week later AKA they forgot about it until we called and decided to send it in then. it was really annoying but i think it happens to all of us!
