I know there is some kind of rule that if you wear a tiara then u shouldn't wear a necklace. I am wearing a tiara and my hair up and I wanted to wear earings and since I am wearing a strapless gown, I thought maybe a necklace too. Is that too much?

I wore a tiara, necklace, earrings and a bracelet.
Not sure of any rule.

There's not really a rule--you just have to see how everything looks w/your dress.

The rule of not over doing it says, do not let anything out do your dress. If you are wearing a nice/flashy tiara, do not let your necklace compete with it. Try to keep the focus in one place you do not want to look like a walking glitter ball. Not saying you cannot do all of the above and look understated. Just keep the focus where you want it.

I am wearing a tiara. A single strand of my grandma's pearls and a borrowed pair of pearl and white gold earings from my FMIL. No bracelet.

not sure of any rule but i wore a tiara, necklace and earrings i gues you have to be aware of overkill. I know i tried a beautiful necklace and earrings but decided against it b/c I thought the style of earrings and necklace wear to overbearing
