thanks...how do you know when you should start using them...

what if you wait to bd until you get a dark pink line, and then you never get one...that is a wasted month isn't it??? I know they aren't 100% reliable.....

When my CM starts to increase I start using the OPK. Thats when I start to BD (even if OPK is negative). This month we decided to try do BD every other day regardless of what the OPK said - but when I did get the positive OPK we BD'd 2 days in a row.

You CM will increase and change in texture 0 the closer you are to O the more like egg whites it will get and it may get a white-ish tinge to it.

I've been Oing between 13-15 days after AF so typically I start testing with the OPKs around 10 days after AF

DH and I got married Nov 27th 2004 and we started trying right after that but the first month I was WAY off with when I O'd so really we've been trying for 5 months - as of this month. Ive read it takes the average person 8-9 months to get PG with their 1st. Ugh....
