largest wedding photo? lol. Seriously, what is the standard wedding portrait size?
11x14 30x40 something in b/w?
partly b/c i want to know and partly to something i saw on bhb.

We have a 11x14 and that is large enough. We went with a 16x20 for a family portrait for my parents, but that is too big for DH and I.

We didnt get anything larger than an 8 x 10 for our dresser in our bedroom. We have one or two small pictures from our wedding day out and a few e-pics.
I am likely to be flamed for my opinion but what the hell.
I have ZERO interest in looking at what we looked like on our wedding day in a poster size. It represents one day - one very special day. I feel as if we would be desensitized after a while looking at something so huge. I really dont need to look at myself all that much.
I also feel that the way we looked that day does not represent who we were when we met and fell in love. It was long before our wedding day when we confirmed how we felt about each other. We are about to go and pick up our album. After a few views, it will go in a box and come out every now and again. I dont want to live my wedding day over and over again, but I have the memories I need.

I think it's the 16 x 20 canvas. We have all of our digital files, so I can even order enlargements from Shutterfly now esp. if I don't need touchups. I'd probably get another 16 x 20, possibly canvas again, if anything.

we just got it matted and framed and I love it. I was afraid it would be too big, but it really isn't ...I will take a pic of it when I get back to my house in CT...

Well...we were originally getting a 20x20 or something like that but the picture we wanted was a panoramic so they couldn't make it that big without cutting out some of the pic (it was a group shot) so they told us instead we could get 2 11x14's.

lolol. thanks girls. i think we'll be getting an 11x14 and are giving the parents 8x10s. i just wanted to see what the norm was, or if there was one.

i'm a huge audrey hepburn fan, but it would be kinda strange to have her staring at me all the time. or maybe i could get a huge picture of my audrey. though she might bark at it. lolol.

i think i know what you are referring to on BHB lol.
our biggest is 11 x 14. we have 3 bigger pics, the 11 x 14 and (2) 8 x 10's...all 3 are hung in our bedroom. one of the 8 x 10's is b/w with the flowers in color to be very specific.
no bridal pic wallpaper for us.

8x10, I am not a fan of the life size wedding photos.
I also bought a frame from PB, with about 9 slots for 4x6 photos. I am going to put all candid wedding photos in the frame. I had Christina Bohn for my photographer and she took so many cool shots of my wedding cake, flowers, guests laughing.
