Mine was when I worked at Genovese pharmacy....filling Rx's...I assisted the pharmacist. I was in college full time and I worked 35 hours a week...the way the counter was set up , the patients could see everything behind the counter and would stand there, stare yell and complain. I was miserable! And stressed to the max.

I worked for an ins company and the girls there were just plain rude. My boss used to close the door in my face when she knew I was right behind her. What a B*tch!

I worked at Sears in the Green Acres mall and got fired when I stopped some lady from whipping her kid with her belt because he fell down the escalator!

I worked for a party rental place. I hated it because my boss was such an ass. It paid the bills and it was part time while I was in college. During the summer that I worked there I had no life because I used to work until a crazy time.

When I worked in a accounting firm where the parter would scream at you for entering something in the computer with the wrong date.
He also swiped someone elses desk into the garbage when he got ****ed at them.
He also made someone else pump gas, when they went ona business trip, because he was on the phone.

I was a supermarket checkout girl for about a month one summer when I was in college. I hated it! I was desperate for a job and took it, but I was terrible! I was so slow, even my own mother wouldn't wait in my line. No joke! I had the meanest, b**chiest boss, too. I quit after a job offer from a community pool came in. That one turned out to be the best summer job ever!

Oh I thought of another one...this was in the WTC, thank God I didn't stay there...I got a job as an admin, I hated the bosses, these were their words 'We expect you to run our lives'....I hate jobs like that to begin with. Then, they asked me to put up some sort of notice on the wall, so as I am pinning it up , the female CEO comes up to me and says 'Who the F*** are you???' I said Exscuse me??? I work for so and so....she stormed off and was cursing up a blue streak and someone told me she was always cursing and rude. I hated it there I was there Mon - Fri, I quit on Friday, my 5th day!

when i was 16 and worked scooping icecream at baskin robbins! owner would always make us work til the last movie was over for the night (we were right next door to the theater) and that was always so unpredictable and UNFAIR!

I worked in a Genovese Pharmacy too - but I loved it!
The worst job...there are two. I worked as a checkout girl in a King Kullen one summer while in college...I ABHORED everything about that job and vowed that no matter how hard up I was for a job, I would NEVER work in a supermarket again.
The second was for a few months...I hated it so much that I was physically ill for a couple of months - the owner was a sexist a$$hole.

The worst job I ever had was at my last firm, which I always said was pretty sad considering I worked at Helmsley-Spear for a year and had to deal with 'the Queen of Mean' on a regular basis and she wasn't as bad as this boss. We had the phones taken off the desks because we weren't allowed to make or receive personal phone calls AT ALL. The boss kept a log of exactly how much work we did per day and we were not allowed to have casual conversation AT ALL with our co-workers. If we were found doing any of these things we would be fired on the spot. It was HELL on earth!

the worst job I had was my past job at at medical billing company in Happague!! it was the worst place to work. there were 2 doors when yoiu walked in...one for the workers and one for management!!! W T F?!?!? didnt they hear that slavery was abolished almost 140 years ago?!?!? The management even had thier own bathroom!!! I got yelled at on a daily basis and I would just laugh at my supervisor. It was a WONDERFUL day the day I quite!!!!!!!!!!

I worked in a shoe booth at the flea market in Smithtown. It was so disgusting!! We had to stand all day long...no sitting or leaning. I think I got paid 4.50 an hour. LOL And have to deal with people that had the stinkiest feet you could imagine!!! There were times that I literally had to keep the boxes off to the side to air out after people tried them on. I lasted a few months, then I decided to be a candystiper at the hospital.

The job I'm at now started off ok, but since one of the executive assistants is out on (permanent)medical leave I have to be her boss's assistant. I hate this man with a capital H. I have to hold his hand for every little thing, he is so condescending (big freaking deal that your a Harvard graduate your still an a55). I am thisclose to quitting, I cant wait until I finish my cosmetology course!

I have two:
I worked in an upscale couture boutique in Bellmore in high school where the owner treated me like $hit under her feet. I was designated to fetch her coffee, run the vaccuum, cater to the endless demands of her patrons and clean her toliet! All this for minimum wage.
A few years back I worked for a wholesale distributor in Hicksville. What a rat trap! Roaches, rodents, no heat, no a/c, a$$hole bosses that would scream obscenities at you, etc. I walked out one day, never to look back.

I took my friends job for a summer while she was in Greece with her then fi. I HATED IT!!!!!! It was in a small real estate owners office and I had to type, deal with rents, answer the phones and the worst part...bring the boss his lunch and endless cups of coffee!!!!!!!
I never had a job that I was really bad at but this one, I couldnt seem to do anything right. Even the way I answered the phone wasnt right for these people. I remember one day one of the other ladies put an important paper on the managers desk without telling her and I got this whole bug lecture on how never to do that again when it wasnt even me!!!!!! I told them it wasnt me and the other lady never said anything and I got in trouble! I so hated that job. Offices are not for me...especially with 3 other catty women and a boss who wants to be catered to.

I dont have to tell you how Gross some people are about there personal hygeine. uhhhh and when I wasn't washing their hair I was cleaning
I learned the handy phrase 'you lean you clean' from the owner who asked me everyday why I was going to school if I could work there full time????

I once worked in a small pr agency for a total loser....I am so glad I left that place. I hated my boss, the location and the projects I was working on. What a big mistake.
