Is a month before the wedding too early for the bach parties? My MOH is a teacher and ppl have to travel so I thought labor day weekend would be a good time to do it. But some ppl are saying it's too early.
Any closer and I think it's too much for everyone to keep having to travel since they have to travel for the wedding.
Also is a month before too early to give BM gifts? Part of their gifts I think will be tank tops with their initial in crystals on it to wear at the bach party so I wanted to give it to them early... can I give them their whole gift early or should I just give them the tank and wait on the rest?

a month before is fine. Dh went to vegas for his bp the first week of april and wedding was middle of May. I went to vegas 3 weeks before and it was fine.
Well I gave the gifts at the RD but if the tank tops are meant to be worn at the bp then i would give it to them then.

I dont think a month is too early. You can have your bach party whenever you chose to.
My friend got married in November and had her party in June. So its whatever you want.
And sure I'd give them the tanks the night of the b-party. But I would give them the tank for the bach party and the rest of the gifts at the rehearsal dinner.

I don't think a month is early at all. I just told my BM yesterday that I would prefer if she plans whatever she's planning one month to 5 weeks prior, because I know I'm going to be so busy the few weeks leading up to the wedding.

I'm probably doing it a month before too. All of my friends who have gotten married said that the last month is crazy so I'd rather not waste a whole weekend being hungover and not getting anything done!

I think a month before is absolutely fine! For my cousins wedding we had it about 6 weeks ahead of time so that all the key people could be there.

I think it's fine. You should do whatever is most comfortable for you and your girls... and if it's a month before then so be it. I think it gives you time to do other stuff in the month leading up to it. Mine will most likely be sometime before the wedding... and id never want it to be so close to the wedding.... like the night b4 or some craziness... i couldn't handle that.
