What is TWOTY?

Excuse my ignorance.

But what is TWOTY (The Wedding Of The Year??)?

Sounds like it's put together by LIW?

Is it like a contest where someone wins a free wedding??

twoty is mock wedding. girls from liw stand in as bm's and gm's, bride and groom.... a bunch of vendors from liw contribute to it (like centerpieces, favors, dj, mc, etc....) its every january and tickets go quick!!! everybody has a lot of fun

It is a mock wedding hosted by LIW that many of their vendor showcase at by donating centerpieces, cakes, photography, etc. The bride and groom at it are all ready married. A newlywed is picked. So at the next one the Bride/Groom and BMs/GMs will be chosen from the brides who were married in 2010. LIW brides and grooms are invited to attend on a first come first serve basis, though tickets tend to sell out in a few days.

The 2009 group were picked by a video contest. Lauren was the bride and just posted her review for it.
