So I am a Pharmaceutical rep, and yesterday I went into an office to see one of my doctors. He saw my ring and asked when I was getting married. He then said, 'well thats nice that you found someone to marry you. not alot of BIG girls get married these days'. My face must have been priceless. I was like yup, thats me, the lucky chubby bride. Then he proceded to ask if I was going to get BOTOX before the wedding because while I was pretty (yeah thanks dude), i have alot of laugh lines. I said, yes, yes I do, but it is becuase I am always smiling. he then offered me botox services (um, BTW, he is a pediatrician...) for $600, so I could look nice at my wedding.
Yeah, thanks but no thanks.
I couldn't even be mad b/c it was so rediculous...while I am no size 2, I am a 8-10...didn't think that that put me in the 'put the cow out to pasture' category!! even if i was a size 46...who the hell are you to say anything???

That's disgusting! Ive had that too. I was a size 22 years ago and someone's bf at the time said that my FH was with me bc Latinos like big girls.
I went to my car and cried.
I dont care what size we are. Size isn't important. It's how we deal w others and what's inside that is.
and btw 600 for botox is a rip off. just so you know. pediatricians must charge more! lol

Plus, the good thing is that my FH is 6'8' 330lbs...so no matter what...I look small!

Yes please post his name! I'm wondering if it's same pediatrician that had my little sister (who is NOT big at all btw) crying over her weight a few years ago.
