I've decided to purchase my MOH a digital camera as her gift. She's gone above and beyond, plus right after my wedding she's going on a round the world trip and I know she wants one for it.
What's your favorite camera out on the market. Easy to use preferred!

well....after the bridentology GTG of 6.9, i have to say that the official digital camera of bridentologists is the canon power shot elph. ranging from SD400-450 and the one without the battery pack. [the same camera is available in 2 forms: 1 takes regular batteries (i think those just say A-400 or something.) and 1 takes the rechargeable battery(SD-400-450)]
so basically, the 'power shot' family is great and easy to use!!!
eta---at the GTG, everyone had one of the 2 versions (some older, some newer...thus the range in model number...the newer one is the sd450...there are ones with higher megapixels...but mine is the sd450 and the 5 or whatever it has is great...my old camera with 3 was fantastic...5 is like, WOW!!!)

I have a sony and I am very happy with it. My only advice would be make sure the camera has a rechargeable lithium battery that you can plug in to recharge. If you have to constantly change batteries it becomes very annoying and inconvienent.

I have a Sony (with rechargeable lithium battery) and it is great and really easy to use. I would recommend it!

i love my nikon coolpix 5.1...it takes great pics.

Yup Yup! Me too! Dh got me one for my birthday last month and it has a huge touch screen that is really cool to navigate with.

well i'm in the minority...lol as i do NOT have a canon powershot.
i have a Kodak Easy Share C340--5.0 MP and i LOVE IT. VERY easy to use. my FH bought it for me for our anniversary, and i think it's a fantastic price. for about $300, you can get the camera, a Kodak Easy Share printer, (prints 4'x6' pics) and a starter kid of 10 pages of photo paper, and a starter ink. for about $45 you can get enough ink and photo pages to make 160 pictures!!
i find that we all get these digital cameras and then NEVER have the actual photo in hand. with my camera, you simply place it on the printer dock--and hit 'Print' and voila! instant pics! or you can DL them into your computer and edit them there and print!

we have an olympus and i love it-- it's amazing how clear the pics come out, the auto zoom on it is awesome, the battery life is great, i love it!!

I have the same camera, but the new one that just came out which is 6mp. I love it and it takes great pictures.

I recommend Kodak, they are great, I have had my camera for 2 years now and FH has a cannon and he thinks my Kodak takes better pictures.

I have an Olympus F140 or something like that. Its 6.1 megapixels and i got it onsale at PC Richards for &189.99. Only thing is it doesnt have a lithium battery....you have to change the batteries when they die. I love the camera though!!!
