Mine is secretly e-mailing his friends, telling them that I'm 'borderline obsessed' with wedding planning.
**SIDENOTE**- This is very untrue.
He is also complaining about every freakin decision that I make. He is suggesting that we cut costs on things like MAKEUP, HAIR, NAILS, and PLACECARDS.
I'm thinking about divorcing him before we get married.

lol aren't they ridiculous? my fi is like 'don't you want to go to city hall' i'm like 'are you crazy' he has even gone as far as trying to bribe me with a bmw X5. no way buddy!

Actually my FI is so funny. He has no idea what I am ever talking about when I talk styles, colors or wedding thing. He just smiles and says whatever makes you happy.
One of his GM is getting married a month after us and FI is in his wedding and if his friend asks him any wedding questions FI is like a wedding pro. He starts telling him how he should check out certain vendors and what questions to ask, what to look for when going to certain things, when is a good time to look at things, who to speak to on things, and usually ends with yea she is really good and on top of things so we are ahead of the game and everything is going well.

I booked the hall for us, 'oh, ok....' I found our DJ, 'oh, ok...' I am booking the honeymoon, 'oh, ok...' Want to know where? 'No, I'll see it when we get there...'
I'm kinda' liking it this way.

Mine is trying to get involved, but then he bows out and leaves it to me anyway. He does try though, I will give him that, he knows and cares more than his friends did.

Mine helped with the DJ..and that is about it.
Showed him are favors and he was like 'thats nice', but then I have a girlfriend whose FI was too in to the plans and it took them forever to plan the wedding.
Hopefully, my FI will help with the Limos, Tuxes and HM. Though he seems to think that the entire wedding could be planned two months before. So I may wind up booking those myself.

I have a Groomzilla on my hands...his concern for others - and not us - has changed our date from a Friday to a Saturday...but he's not happy that it's Labor Day weekend - cause that might cause problems for people who like to go away that weekend. GAAHHHHH! After we see the band tonight and decide on what we want - band or dj - we will decide on the FINAL date...and then he's done with the plans, as far as I'm concerned!
To his defense, he feels rushed with making these plans...he's someone who took 6 months to buy a digital camera - due to all the research and testing he needed to do...so I understand and accept this part of him...but a Groomzilla, he is.

mine has begun this new thing where he tries to calculate everything and figure out how much we still owe....like i need more stress...to me, just knowing its alot is enough!!

My FH has been great.
He was very involved at the beginning. Came with me to all the appointments with the halls, and even brought a notebook and took notes. (One of the banquet managers even commented on his involvement!). He would spend hours on the internet and send me all kinds of things he found, favors, invites, etc. He even went so far as to start sending me pictures of wedding dresses!! That's when I drew the line!!!
But as time went on, he had to start studying for a promotion exam (test is the day before the wedding), and doing major house renovations, so basically I've been doing most things by myself. I will give him credit, though, because even with all he has on his plate, he still tries to help out by making phone calls, and doing whatever he can manage to do. I have no complaints.

My FH is not doing a $%^& thing except contributing money. He was *supposed* to do limos but guess who got stuck with that one in the end? He told me yesterday that if he finds out that I bought toasting flutes off of ebay, he will get very mad. I said we need them for toasting and he goes 'The hall will give them to us.'
He doesn't get a vote re the guest book.
