What is your FH wearing?

My FH would like to wear a suit for the weddding. If all the groomsmen buy a suit where would a good place to buy them be. On man is in Florida so it would have to be a store that can be found there so the suits will match.

Since you have an OOT GM I would suggest going to a department store, one that they also have in Florida. I know JCPenney's has a nice suit section. Also the Men's Wearhouse is a national chain, try there.

FH has decided that he wants to wear a black on black tux, with a black velvet vest. We'll see how that looks and see how long that lasts, lol...

I would go with a department store that is also in Florida or Mens Wearhouse....otherwise you'll have to buy something & ship it to him in FL.

FH is looking into suits for him & the GM's too. Last weekend we went to Nordstrom's & found one he loved but it was like $800 bucks. Macy's didn't have much of a selection on Tan suits. We tried a rental place since destination weddings are big they have a line of suit rentals now but they don't carry then in stock since there isn't enough of a demand in our area. We went to Mens Wearhouse & found a suit that was 2 for $600 bucks that comes with 2 pairs of pants....so we may go with them. A few of the GM's were fine with buying a suit because you get to keep it.

We went through Mens Warehouse becasue of the size varitey. We have some REALLY big guys and they found what they were looking for. IIRC, the suits were $400? Maybe less, my FH hates spending money on clothes.

Mine are all wearing the same tux, but my FH has a different color vest. We went to AfterHours because we have people that live out of state and we figured that it would be easier for them.

Mine are all wearing tuxes - FH included.

If you want your GMs to buy a suit, just make sure the expense is okay with them... because a nice suit will be more than a tux rental or most BM dresses.

I think suits can look SO nice - I looooved the suits the guys in kittythestray's wedding wore!
