I'm going from an Italian name to an Irish name, and there's not a drop of Irish in me. And FH is also Italian, this is the only thing he got from his father.

going from Calderon (pronounced Cauldron like a witches pot ) which people always mess up to SARAGA (Sah - Rah - Ga)

going from a nice easy name like Kane to Grabowski...asked FH if I could keep my name and he said sure if I want to drop my first name I could go by Kane Grabowski!! He thinks he's funny!!!

i am going from a polish name that NO ONE EVER has pronounced correctly to a BABY FOOD...

my new last name will be Gerber!!!

can't wait to have a 'Gerber' baby one day!! lol xoxo

i always wished for a shorter last name, my last name is 10 letters and now my new married name will be 11 letters Consolmagno so much for wishful thinking.

I have the opposite problem , Ng will be my new last name (pronounced ENG) . I look forward to a life time with this unpronounceable name

this is cracking me up!!
I will be a Donley (believe it or not, everyone mis-pronounces it and says Donnelly..but it's Don-lee. My current last name is ALWAYS mispronounced though so at least now I'll have a fighting chance!

I am also going from a Jewish last name to another Jewish last name, and yet I'm Catholic!!! (Did I mention my name means something in Hebrew? I can't remember for the life of me what, though)
