What is your old, new, borrowed and blue?

I don't remember seeing a post like this before. What are you doing/having to represent the old, new, borrowed and blue?

For me:

New = dress
Old = FH grandmother's hankerchief
Borrowed = I think I'm borrowing something of my grandmother's from my Aunt
Blue = ??

Old- Grandmother's hankercheif
New- Dress
Borrowed- other grandmother's hanky
Blue- garter

old - my grandmother's hankie
new - my dress
borrowed - my mom's earrings
blue - garter

old = string of pearls gram gave me for my sweet 16

new = tiara

borrowed = veil (from MOH)

blue = beading on the dress/tiara

Old: earrings, engagement ring

New: Practicallyt everything I will be wearing

Borrowed: Mom's bracelet

Blue: garter, rhinestones on bottom of shoes

Old and borrowed - My grandmothers diamond necklace
New - my dress
Blue - the rhinestones on the bottom of my shoes!

Old: Grandma had wedding and engagement rings melted down into earings and a necklace for my HS graduation, so i'll be wearing those
New: My dress
Borrowed: probably a bracelet from moh's father's jewlery store.
Blue: probably the garter.

Old: great great grandmothers wedding band on my right hand
New: dress, etc.
Borrowed: MOH slip!
Blue: Garter

Hmmm....good question!!!

Old- STILL NEED THAT ONE! I'll probably pin a charm from my grandmother to my crinolin.
New- My dress
Borrowed-My pocketbook
Blue- My garter

Old/Barrowed- My great grandmothers cameo was pinned to the inside of my pettycoat.

Blue- A heart ring with blue stones that my husband gave me on my 16th birthday

New-my dress

I also had a sixpence taped to the inside of my shoe

BORROWED & OLD: Great Grandmother's hankerchef - all of my cousins have used it; crinolin slip, cathedral veil

NEW: Lace Garter from Ireland, dress, tiara, everything else!

BLUE: hmmm, not sure yet! Maybe Panties!

Borrowed (and old but not officially) a watch my grandfather gave my grandmother right after they were married.

Blue - garter or panties haven't decided yet.

Old - a lace bonnet was made for me for my baptism that has instructions for it to be turned into a hanky for my wedding day.

New - pretty much everything else I'll be wearing.

Old...My grandmother's pearls
New...Dress
Borrowed...The slip I will be wearing, my FSIL is going to lend it to me
Blue...Garter

Sixpence in my shoe!

I have not really put much thought into this.
I refuse to use my dress as something new.

Something Old is easy. I was thinking of having my Grandmother’s Crucifix and my Grandfather’s small craving tied at the base of my bo-k

Something New: I may buy some stud pearl earrings for my second piercing. Still undecided. Otherwise I guess I’ll have to figure something out. My ring?

Something Borrowed: I was thinking of borrowing a guitar pick from my brother!!!

Something Blue: Can that be my one blue eye? Otherwise I guess my stepmother will have to lend me one of her sapphire rings. Which will be my something borrowed as well.

Still sort of unsure. I want each to mean something.

old- my grandmother's bracelet
new- my gown, shoes, tiara, etc... (and I'm hoping FH buys me something as a surprise for the wedding day)
borrowed- I was supposed to borrow my mother's diamond necklace, but it doesn't really work with my gown so I'll have to figure this one out
blue- going to get a Yankee garter

old and borrowed - sister's (MOH) pearl necklace
new - my dress
blue - blue ribbon in place of ankle strap on my shoes

Old- My mom's enagagement diamond set into a pendant
New- Dress, veil, tiara
Borrowed- ??
Blue- Garter and 'Bride' thong

Old: Grandmother's pearl necklace

New: Dress and Bracelet

Borrowed: Possibly earings ...not sure yet

Blue: Garter, and the dark tanzenite (darkens to blue rather than light purple) set next to my diamond in my engegement ring. People always thing it's saphire.

Old and Blue- blue toss garter...I caught it at my sisters wedding 3 yrs ago...so when I got home that night I put it away into the original box my sister purchased it in.

Borrowed- might borrow my sisters veil, otherwise no clue

New- dress and everything else....
