How do you see your reception running, timline wise?
1 - entrance 2 - first dance 3 - 1st course 4 - father daugther dance
and so on....right down to cake cutting and final dance if you'd like!
I'm wondering what the most common order is.

I really haven't thought of it.. But I am guessing:
1) entrance 2) toast 3) 1st course 4) special dance - FH with my mom and me with his dad.. (my best friend is singing) 5) main course 6) cake cutting 7) My dance with my dad 8) FH dance with mom

We're still up in the air. I want to do:
Entrance 1st dance 2nd dance (w/ bridal party and then all guests) BM/MOH Toasts 1st Course (with photo montage) Father/Daughter Mother/Son Main Course Dancing Cake Cutting
(We're not doing garter/bouquet toss)
FH wants to do F/D & M/S dances right in the beginning after our dance. I'm not sure b/c I really want to do a second dance with a song that I think is really special and I don't think it makes sense to have the whole audience come up and dance just to be told to sit back down again for the F/D M/S. We keep going back and forth about it. He really wants to get all of the orchestrated dances out of the way first thing.
Any other suggestions??

We were thinking....
1- entrance 2 - first dance 3 - my grandparents anniversary song, couple & BP will dance 4 - Best Man Toast 5 - Duet Course 6 - Father Daughter Dance 7 - Mother Son Dance 8 - Maid of Honor Toast 9 - Main Course while sinatra singer entertains 10 - Garter/Bo-K 11 - Dancing 12 - Cake cutting 13 - Dancing while vienese is out
