What is your something old, new, borrowed and blue?

My something old will be a hanky that my mom is having made out of the lace from her wedding dress, which was handmade by my great aunts and grandmother. Something new is my jewelry and dress, and blue will be my garter. Still dont have something borrowed....I had better start scavenging through my married friends stuff

My something old - My Grandma's pearl necklace. She gave them to me at our e-party to wear at the wedding.

Something new - my dress, veil, shoes, take your pick

Something borrowed - Pearl earings from either my mom or one of my BMs

Something blue - my garter

Something old- is my necklace made from one of my grandmothers rings.

I don't have any of the others yet

My BMs are taking care of this, but here's my guess:

Old and borrowed: my cousin (one of my BMs) has my grandma's claddagh ring. I think she is loaning it to me for the ceremony.
Blue: I think they got me blue panties.
New: ? not sure if they are just letting it be my dress, the panties, or something else.

My mom also already gave me a five pence for my shoe.

Old & blue...was a blue pin my mother used to use to pin my diaper (yes, I'm a pre-disposable diaper baby).

Mine was:

Old - My Grandmothers small daily bible that I carried in my bouquet.

New - My earrings, that I bought for myself.

Borrowed - DH's grandma's antique platinum and diamond bracelet...BLING BLING!

Blue - my toe nails!! (And all of my bridesmaids)

I like the toenail/blue thing! I want to get mine done sheer blue/french tip. Good idea!!

I don't know any of mine yet, but for either old or borrowed I am *dying* to wear my grandmothers ring that my mother had (and was going to eventually give to me) but after my mother passed away, my aunt found it while we were looking for jewelry for the funeral home to put on my mother for the wake, and she said that because she (meaning my aunt) never knew her mother (she died in childbirth) the ring really would mean alot to her and could she have it? How could I say no? So I really really really hope that she will offer to let me wear it. I might ask, but I feel funny asking.

Other than that my FH gave me his mother's (who is also deceased) engagement ring as my ring, and I also wear her wedding band currently too (I feel better wearing it than leaving it at home since we were burglarized in May...he rather me wear it). So maybe that will be the 'old'.

I still have awhile to figure that all out!

Blue - Turquoise blue thong undies from Victoria's Secret (I picked those out! )

At my e-party, my mother grandmother sister and FMIL each gave me one of these.
Old - my mother's garter
New - my sister got us the cake cutter/server engraved with our names and wedding date
Borrowed: My grandmother's Tiffany platinum and diamond tennis bracelet (she gave it to me that day but took it right back - i guess i'll get it again closer to the wedding)
Blue: a blue hankerchief
