I've having trouble picking a specific theme to my wedding (we have a lot of different interests) so I'm wondering what everyone's theme is and how did you come about picking it.

What is your theme? - Long Island Weddings
We wanted to do a midsummer nights dream theme but then realized how hard it is to pull off and how expensive it was going to be. We figured that we could just do a Shakespeare theme so we put a Shakespeare quote in the invitations and wanted to do quotes on all of the table numbers but at this point out theme is purple. That's the only thing that has been consistent. I'm kinda annoyed because I really wanted a theme but I feel like general themes are so much easier ex. Fall, beach, winter etc
I don't think you need a theme just something that's constant!

I agree I don't have a specific theme necessarily everything is just consistent.

I don't have a theme either.. Since our date is only a few days after the New Year I bought these over sized martini glasses to be used as my center pieces and to continue the New Year's celebrations at our Wedding. I'm all about to live, to love and laugh so that I have incorporated in my wedding invitations and little touches to be added at the reception.

ROCK STAR GLAM. We both love rock and metal music and get VIP into many shows and are very into the scene BUT I wanted a very formal, glamourous wedding with crystals and sparklies everywhere :)

'All you need is love' is our theme.. We didn't want something too theme-y and I think they should be subtle. We'll also be incorporating little Disney things into our wedding... Hidden mickeys, small hints of our love of Disney :)

That is so sweet. For our anniversary dance we will be giving a bottle of wine with their wedding anniversary engraved n the bottle. The top 3 and my FIL's made it. Lol

I'm going with a fall theme somewhat. Pumpkins around he hall, mason jar centerpieces, hard cider, caramel apples, that type of stuff.

I love that idea. Very warm and cozy. And let's not forget the caramel apples. Yummy :)

We are doing a nautical theme. It fits perfect with our venue and we love the water so it just made sense for us

No real theme, but the music for the processional, recessional and intros for the parents, wedding party and ourselves are all music from Movies.
Processional: Storybook Love - Princess Bride Recessional - Throne Room - Star Wars Episode IV
FH folks entrance - Concerning Hobbits - LOTR Fellowship of the Ring (sounds Irish and they are in their late 80's, they'll never notice lol)
My folks entrance - Celebrate - Kool and the Gang) Mom's favorite song - meets criteria, it was in Muppets from Space.
MOH and BM - All You Need is Love - Yellow Submarine
BrM & GM - Theme to Flash Gordon probably - He likes Queen
BrM & GM - Theme to Rocky maybe - FH says his brother liked the movie.
BrM & GM - Theme to Dr. Who - they both love Dr. Who
US - Back in Black- the riff looped because we don't want the lyrics - was in Ironman.
