wedding band are you getting? plain? diamonds? eternity? i am so torn as to which kind i want.....'m curious to see what others are doing (although i realize it depends on your E-ring...)

i wanted something different...and love antique style jewelry...the wedding band & my e-ring setting are from the same jeweler in the city...loooove his stuff!
I think a really thin white gold with diamonds one. Or a plain one- we will see how the price is. I figure i can always get a new band in a couple of years if need be.

I am getting a pave diamond eternity band that matches the band on my e-ring.
Mine is almost a smaller version of my e-ring (the guy who designed my e-ring designed my wedding band to match). It is three princess cut stones (the same size stones as the sides of me e-ring .50 of a carat each) and platinum. then the band has 5 channel set round diamonds on each with the antique etching on the inside and outside of the band. The look so beautiful together! When i stop in to get my prongs checked i'll take a pic!!

I have a small diamond eternity band. I also have a 4mm yellow gold comfort fit band that I wear to work, grocery shopping and so on. Sometimes I just want to feel chill and not all blingy. I also wear the plain band when I travel.

I didn't like the ring that matched my Ering so I got this one. It is a channel setting ring with square diamonds. It only goes half way around because I am rough on my hands at work, so I didn't want to knock any of the diamonds out if I got an eternity ring.

i dont have mine yet but we already saw the jeweler so i have an idea of what i am getting...it will be custom made for me....
its round diamonds on the top of the band seperated by a vertical bar....the diamonds will go slightly under the band but not all the way around - just enough so that if it spins you will see diamonds not metal....its being made to sit flush against my e-ring - it will be in platinum like my ering - and the diamonds will be the same width as my e-ring band so everything looks even....i wanted an eternity band but they didnt sit right against my ering - they kind of bulged out on the sides where my ering is more tapered on the sides like a dome.....the eternity band was also a little uncomfortable (but if it would have looked right with my ering i probably wouldnt have cared that it felt weird against my other fingers ) my ering band is also pretty wide and its a solitaire so i need something that complimented the plain band of my ering - so the platinum bars complimented my ering nicely - it was the right amount of metal.....i cant wait until next year when i can have it made!

I have my grandmothers wedding band hat is diamonds across the top. My FH is going to get me a matching one so I will wear one on each side like a past. present. future ring.

Channel setting with diamonds inside, but the diamonds only go halfway around because I want to be able to change the size if i need to.

Well all you girls getting bands with diamonds is making me want an eternity band, but i don't know if it's the smart thing to do money-wise right now. I'm thinking of getting a plain platinum band and possibly upgrading to something bling-y for our five-year anniversary.... oooh to have all the money in the world...
