What kind of.....

...headpiece do you think would go with a very bejewled gown (all crystals and embroidery on top)...(no pic of my dress anywhere grrrr)

I am planning on wearing my hair 1/2 up 1/2 down with a mantilla veil which also has a lot of embroidery....

help....please...no tiaras more like 'head band'...

Mine would go I think ... it's pearls and crystals but simple. it's like a headband but it lays on top of your head like a tiara would ... sort of angled .. does that make sense? It was $30 at tri county, at a booth in the back (not barrons).

i wouldn't wear a headpice. I wore a mantilla and i just wore pretty pins in my hair

Check my album... this was pretty much my style too. I had a headband with my hair 1/2 up 1/2 down and a veil with a wide lace trim around the edge...

I am actually doing my hair the same way and found a crystal barrette I am using the pic of it is in my album under wedding stuff, I went simple with shoes and headpiece because my dress had so much going on.

I have a dress with lots of work on the top and here are ones I was thinking of, they are just a comb.

I persoally think it would be too much to wear a head peiece with a mantilla veil ... maybe a pretty clip that holds your hair half half down? But I guess you have to put it all together to see how how it looks...its all about your preferance.

I agree...a headpiece along with the beading, crytals and mantilla veil may be a lot. I think the mantilla veils are beautiful enough without a headpiece...JMO
