What kind of Bachelorette Party did you/will you have?

What kind of Bachelorette Party did you/will you have?

Just curious since mine is coming up -- did most of you do the more 'wild' things like with the list of things you have to get from other people, strippers, etc. Or did most of you have something a little more 'tame' with dinner, drinks and some dancing?

I'm trying to figure out what to do and I can't decide. I feel like I did enough crazy partying in college to last me for 50 years so I don't really 'need' it and it might be kind of embarassing (though after 10 shots, maybe embarassed isn't an emotion I'll be in touch with anymore ).

We're going out to montauk and spending the day on the beach, going to dinner, and then a few of us will be spending the night. Very low key

That sounds like fun! How many girls are going with you? I might only have 3 if I do it before my college friends get to town (which wouldn't be til THURSDAY the week of the wedding ).

I always thought your BP planned it so that you have no say...Cause I will totally do the Spa thing...I dont drink and I have never been to a club so it's just not me

I'm considering Borgata in AC or Mohegan Sun - just so we have spa options, restaurants and nightlife all in one.

I think if it had been planned a while ago, that's how it would've gone but they kind of waited til the last minute (IMO). Now I'm getting married in 3 weeks and MOH just talked to me about it this week. So, it's kind of me trying to figure out what weekends are not going to be too crazy for me and how functional I'll need to be the day after.

I like the low key idea as well.... the spa,dinner and dancing sounds lile a lot of fun!!

we are having food and a sex toy party at my house, then we are having a limo take us into the city to a club named BLVD

I think its totally up to you. Maybe you can start off tame with dinner and some drinks & have the 'list' handy if things do start going that route.

mine was sort of in the middle... one of my BMs lives in philly... so she had 7 girls to her apartment- shes loves hosting stuff, so she made all kinds of mexican food- homemade salsa, enchinadas, taco salad, etc... and we drank a lot there- strawberry daqueries and stuff... we were having such a good time talking and eating that it was like almost midnight before we left to go out.... so we just went to a bar for a couple hours... pretty tame... but they did give me a list of things that i had to 'do' at the bar... get a condom from a guy, slap 5 guys on their butts, find a guy named luke (FIs name), dance on a chair, etc.... so it was a little crazy, but mostly tame
