What kind of BM dress?

Anyone have suggestions for a bridesmaid dress for a destination wedding in a resort (tropical climate)? I got married over 2 years ago so I am not much help to my friend who is asking.

Edited to clarify!

Dominican Republic has alot of all inclusive places which would be nice. Ive been to RIU they did weddings.

sometimes they have deals like if u book a certain amount of rooms u get some stuff free.

Chiffon dresses sound ideal...or even cotton since it's so hot!

Check out jcrew's selection....they always go on sale.

What about JCrew dresses....they have cute BM dresses or even a cute sundress would be nice for a destination wedding

I would do short dresses in bright colors to give the tropical look.

I went to a wedding in the Bahamas where the girls wore short sundresses in a tropical print, and the guys wore the same print with khaki pants.
