What kind of cough drops can I take when preggy?

What kind of cough drops can I take when preggy?

Please answer quick. DH is going to the store for me in a few minutes.
I called the drs office. I asked what I can take.
The nurse said sudafed non-drowsy or robitussin regular. She wasn't sure about cough drops. Does anyone know?

Sue, knowing all the rules, probably not suppose to take any. I bought Rite Aid brand throat soothers and those worked good for me. BUT, if you read the label, it says to contact the Dr before taking while preggo. I didn't....

Really? What about the medicines she suggested? Is it really ok to take while preggy? I don't want anything to harm the baby. I feel like I should just suffer.

Sue, no those two that she said are fine and most all OB's recommend them for pregnant people. I think that everything is really to keep use of everything in moderation.
