does your dog chew on it? I am thinking of getting Casey a fleece one. Right now I have a bunch of sheets in her crate but it looks messy and she is tearing them apart.

I couldn't have anything in the crate.
When Cosmo was a puppy, he would rip EVERYTHING I tried putting into there into pieces, so I had to leave the crate empty

Oscar would love to eat some fleece. He went crazy over a friend's fleece sweatshirt the other day.

Scooby, too, was eating anything fleece. I still can't leave him on my rugs - he pulls out the fibers. I made his pad from a heavy but comfy fabric with some fiberfill inside.

A friend of mine uses an old comforter. That's the best. She cut it into different sizes and stitched it around. She has a pad for the crate and a few around the house for her dog to sleep on. One gives her so many.

charlotte has a thick pad with lambs wool covering it. she hasn't chewed anything in her crate fortunately, unlike her desires for gum, cigarettes, prescription pills...etc!

Sandy has eaten through 3 pillows so now we have a down comforter in her crate that I got at Kohls for $3.00. It has only been in there 2 nights but so far so good.

We bought a lambswool crate bed when we first bought the crate, but until Golem was crate trained not to pee in there, we just threw a bunch of old t-shirts down. But he tore them to shreds!! We have the bed in there now, but when he started tearing that up and chewing on it - we would scold him, then take it out. Now he doesn't chew on it at all and he loves snuggling in his cozy bed

ETA - Oh, before we put the lambswool bend in teh crate - we also tried towels, and an old comforter, but he ripped the towels to shreds, and tore the stuffing out of the comforter!! He was also teething at the time, which I'm sure didn't help!

We have an old blanket and a pillow in there which has lasted a while. I bought him a nice fleece crate pad and when I got home from work he had torn it to pieces! So back in went the old blanket and pillow.....

so it seems as thought maybe I should leave sheets and a blanket in there for now!? LOL

maybe just until she grows out of her teething stage, or if you want to train her not to bite anything that's in the crate.
