I'm trying to make a list of important things for my hall - i.e. table set up, waitstaff, etc ..
Did anyone do this? What would you put in this type of letter? I want it to be professional and I want to make sure my wishes are carried out but I don't want to sound like a bridezilla either!
Any suggestions?

I had to label everything that I brought in to the hall the day before the wedding. I specified what I wanted done with each thing.
ie- Engagment picture of us I wrote: For the CH please place this picture on the table where the place cards will be with two small candles on either side. Once the CH is over please move picture to our cake table and place next to our cake.
Honestly, they did a great job on putting everything where I wanted and I was worried they wouldn't.
Don't worry about sounding like Bridezilla. You are PAYING them A LOT of money to make sure that EVERYTHING goes accordingy to you and FH that day.

I numbered all the boxes I was dropping off. Then I made a list which details out what was in each numbered box item by item and where I wanted it placed, when I wanted it to be used or put out, etc... I also made several copies of the list so all the staff could have one! Call it bridezilla, but when I dropped off my stuff the BM said he loved me for being so organized!

I have been thinking about this. Shoot, my wedding is 1 1/2 yrs away and I am already starting to worry that things will not go when/where/how I want!
I am the kind of person that I'd rather do things myself to know they were done right, how do I put that aside and put the trust into someone else?!?!

I basically made a list of everything I was dropping off in order of how the day would run with directions as to set up. Trust me, they won't think you're a bridezilla, they loved that I was so specific and they didn't have to wonder what things were for or where they were supposed to go.

i put a label on everything and i also typed up directions where i wanted everything etc and everything was right where it shou;ld have been the night of my wedding. i think you can never be to organized and you wont be a bridezilla if you do although i dont think bridezilla is really a bad thing
