What kind of filling are you having in you cake?

What kind of filling are you having in you cake?

I am so confussed about what type of cake to have yellow/chocalate/ white chiffon?

Then what type of filling, I am confussed. My bakery is Audreys anyone have any recommendations. I might go for a tasting but need some ideas.

I'm thinking of doing chocolate mousse with a thin layer of rasberry preserves.

ugh I wish I could do canoli with chocolate chips! I don't think FH would go for that...and not everyone loves canoli. We'll probably go with chocolate mousse. I'm not a big fruit filling fan...

I imagine we'll go with yellow cake- though I prefer chocolate. mmmmm!

yellow cake with chocolate mouse filling.
if ur looking for something different my friend is having red velvet cake with cream cheese filling.

what kind of tasting, did you order some to try or do they do a sample of the diffrent cakes? Please keep me posted.

Hey

I have Audreys Bakery too in Sayville, and they said I could not come in for a cake tasting...I wonder if its because my cake comes with the reception package I got -

They have like 55 flavors to choose from, I am not a cake person as it is, so I have no idea what is good or what people like best. FH is the cooker and baker thank god

Im in the same boat...no clue, I will be meeting with a bakery next week..so I need ideas too

I am doing the Choc mousse and raspberry too.. and then I also want cannoli cream
