I am a big fan of the glue gun, I am using it right now to make a sample program.

My motto is always experiment first. I never used it on cardboard or paper, so I can't help you there. Try it out and you can't go wrong.

don't panic, i stepped away to order food. you don't have practice paper! ummmm, gluestick can become unsticky, ya know? crap, do one with gluestick and one with glue gun on low. hold on lemme get the guide to the glue gun. don't touch anything!

glue gun on low setting is perfect for delicate materials such as children's crafts, ribbons, and balloons. that's what it says..so go for it. just be careful!

hi there, shea

I am a bookbinder, and I own about a zillion different kinds of glue.

for two coloured cardstocks i would probably use wallpaper paste, spread very thin.

This stuff is good because it takes a long time to dry, so you can reposition at will but when it does dry it stays together very nicely.

Some other benefits are that it is thick and clear - it will not run and ruin your work.

You can get it at home improvement stores, and it is pretty cheap.

Some advice though: brush on witha paint brush and smooth & thin out with a straight edge (a ruler or piece of cardboard or something).

Have fun!

I've used transparent scotch tape, a hole puncher, organza ribbon, a silk rose and a hot glue gun. The glue was too messy to hold the cardstock and vellum paper together.
