What kind of glue would you recommend for LOVESAVERS candy project?
I'm usually not crafty, so I don't know what to use. I want to make them all tonight. (wow... that sounds SO ambitious of me!)

What exactly fo you have to do? I ended up using double sided tape for a lot of my DIY projects because it is so much easier to work with then glue.

a woman just e-mailed me the file. I'm printing it on photo paper and bought the lifesaver storybook lifesavers myself and I'm gonna affix them tonight. The only problem is there's a SMALL gap between showing the silver wrapper because the lifesaver roll is a bit too big. The only lifesavers that will fit them PERFECTLY are the mints, but I don't want to use mints... I want to use the candy.

anyone? The one side of the label has to be glued to the other side of the label (it will be wrapped around a lifesaver pack). It's photo paper.

Ok now I understand. I would use the double sided tape, but do one piece for each side since there is an overlap. Trust me, it is much easier to work with then glue!!!!

Those are awesome! Did you make those labels yourself? Do you have a template?

What about using rubber cement? That will definitely hold.
Elmers glue might work but probably not as well, or you can use a touch of crazy glue, but that can get messy.

sarah, best stuff you can use is the paper cement...
i tried them all - spray, glue stick, dots, etc.!
trust me, that's the best stuff and t dosen't smear or make ur paper crinkly, etc!
you can get a bottle at staples for 2 bucks. it's in the brown jar with blue and white label... i think it's elmer's paper cement?

Could you please send me the template? I have been looking everywhere for these and can't find them.

Re: What kind of glue would you recommend for LOVESAVERS candy project?
rubber cement hold well, but can be messy as the proper (and best) way to use it is to paint it on both sides, let it dry, then stick it together. (do it this way and it'll never come off).
i'd probably just just hot glue. easy to control and dries fast. double sided tape would work (one with a strong glue on it), but i'm a hot glue fanatic. =0)
and you're using photopaper? what kind? have you tried it yet? most photopapers are pretty thick and harder to work with, that's why i'm asking. do a test first to make sure it's what you want and make sure to let the prints dry COMPLETELY before using them or they'll smear. good luck!
