What kind of manicure are you getting? (w/poll)

Just curious as to what style you bridal chicas are doing your nails-i'm undecided about my own, and thought a poll would help! Love to hear about it! Thanks girls!

ETA pictures: The American manicure is a bit more natural looking than a traditional french.

I don't know what the french (american) is, but I'm getting a white-on-white french manicure (no pink base, instead a light white base with the white tips)

I think I am going to get Light Concept or Permanent French, not quite sure yet.

I was actually thinking of red nails and toes since all my flowers are red. But if I go with French I will go with the color ballet slippers. That is my favorite.

What is 'american' French?

I'm debating, btw a Pink French Mani or just Pale Pink... I don't like French Pedi's and I want them to match, so I have to decide if I wan tmy fingers french, witout my toes french?

i'm the EXACT same way--and having the same dilemma-which i always do every time i get a french-not a fan of of french on the toes-love it for nails-but also LOVE matching!

Permanent French Probably, good for tanning cause it does not yellow, and it look perfect all the time

actually i wanedt to get a french manicure but i am going two days before my wedding so i was worried that it might start to chip. I dont want to get fake nails put on, cuz i am only going to peel them off a few days later. Does anyone have any tips on how to get nail polish to last?

I always get ballet slippers too, it also looks great if you put a coat of 'waltz' underneath! :)

I really do want a French, LOVE how it looks. But since my nails are not artificial, nail polish chips within a day or 2! it is SO frustrating!

So I think my only choice is to go with a pale pink since that won't show too much if it chips.

By the way, I never heard of 'American manicure' and I can't tell what it is in the picture. can someone please explain what it is?
