what kind of necklace to you wear with a halter top.

I really want to wear one but I think the halter makes it tough. any suggestions?

if you must then I'd suggest you go with a simple solitare pendant, nothing too ornate, but I tend to not wear any necklaces with halter tops

if you want one htough - how about an invisible kind - like a swaroski (sp??) crystal on a faint chain or something like that???

i generally don't wear necklaces with halter tops. can you go with a nice bracelet instead?

I'm wearing opera lenth gloves...I think...and i was thinking of wearing a bracelet with a few rows of pearls. Where can i get an invisible chain?

If you are in the Massapequa area, you can visit Forever Diamonds in the Jewelery Exchange(in the Burlington Coat Factory centre). They have a bunch of 'invisible' solitaires and pearls there. They also do some custom work if you have the time to place a special order.

...But...if your halter top is decorated or has thick straps I wouldn't do too much around your face & neck especially if you have a decorative tiara.

try the swaroski store too - theres on in roosevelt field and its supposed to not be that bad - but i haven't gone so i don't know....they might have invisible chains there too!!!

I dont think any necklace looks good with a halter.
I had a ahalter top and wearing a necklace was too much. It took away from the neckline.
I do NOT recommend a choker either.
If you really want to wear one...I suggest something small and petite

Cuteypie, we have the same dress.

I debated this as well. This dress can stand on its own without a neckalace. I did buy a small dainty one that looks nice. This may be the way to go if you must have something.

I wouldn't wear a necklace with a halter top. I would stick with earrings that accent your face, since your neckline is already getting attention from the dress.
