I used 6' doilies - much easier than regular paper! Just fold and stick - no cutting necessary and it looks really pretty!

Using velum and cutting it into 4 triangles. putting a rhinestone and bow in middle of outside of it

Check out my album. I used paper from micheals, a medium heavy card stock. You can use any size paper, but cut it down to 6x6 squares. When you go grab a piece of paper and try to roll it a bit to see how flexible it is. It should be sturdy but flexible enough to roll. I used sku SHT09129, ivory 8x8 (and cut it down.) if you go ask them which paper corresponds to that sku. Hope hat helps.

Just saw this....
Buy 6' doilies (they sell them at AC Moore for $1.99 for 24 or 36) and fold into a cone shape. I bought 1.5' round labels at Staples - just print whatever you want onto the round labels (monogram, quote, etc.) and stick the round label on the doily to hold the cone shape. You can also use regular tape, but I like the round label better - it sticks better and you can personalize it. HTH!
