What kind of window treatments would you put on this window? PIC
What kind of window treatments would you do for this window? Please post pictures if you can.
If drapes/curtains would they go down to the floor? I just am not good at this stuff...please help!!
Also would you paint or stain the natural wood on the window. I need to treat it, just not sure if I should paint it white since the molding is white...

We have the same window set up in our living room. We hung two sets of curtain rods and hung sheers from one set to cover the window but let light in, and on the top set of curtain rods, we hung thick drapes, that we tied back. The curtains we used went to the floor. Not sure if I have a pic, I'll look.
We painted the window because it went better with the decor in our room.

Call me stupid, but WHERE do you buy drapes? I figured they'd sell them at department stores, but I can't seem to find them. I know they sell them at Bed, Bath & Beyond, but where else?

Try Marburn Curtains. I just bought my living room, kitchen and daughter's room curtains there. They are inexpensive and nice.

I know there is one in Hauppauge on 347 just west of 111.
Another great store is the Curtain Store (they are in centereach and massapequa) They have a really nice selection and a reasonabley priced.

I would do a stain not paint. I like te look of a natural finish.
