I wore a fingertip lenght and a cathedral. I took the cathedral off after the ceremony and pictures.

I went with fingertip. Originally I wanted a cathedral length but the back of my dress is so pretty and I didn't want to hide it-so I went with the fingertip length.

I'm not sure, yet... I'd like a 3 tier veil with one tier a detachable cathedral length - the others fingertip and elbow length... but we'll see what I actually pick out!
