What length veil would your wear

with this dress?
(I plan on taking it off after the first dance)

I say if you have a lot of work at the bottom, dont wear one of those really long veils...JMO

I wore two veils. One fingertip and a detachable cathedral. I had alot of beading on my train and was worried the veil would cover it but it was so sheer you could still see the beadwork. I loved the cathedral!

Love the look of a cathedral - it's romantic and makes such a statement. I think one would look beautiful with your dress.

ETA: I've never seen a veil that was so think that it would cover any detail. I don't think that should be an issue. You should try on various lengths and textures to see what you like.

I wouls go with a fingetip. that way, you don't cover up all the detail on the back of the dress.

Its up to you! My cathedral is detachable, but I have a cage short veil thats elbowlength. I like long veils so for that dress I would choose a long cathedral thats plain, maybe with a rolled edge. Something like this:

Unless the bottom of the dress is plain, I can't really tell.

I love cathedral veils (which is ironic considering I hate the feeling of wearing a veil at all). My MOH tried to talk me out of getting one because of the detail on the bottom of my dress, but honestly it's not made of wool - your detail will show through! JMO
