What little things does FH do for you because he loves you?

Grand, romantic gestures are wonderful, but what are little things FH does for you that show you how much he loves you?

Yesterday, FH (who leaves for work a little earlier than I do) scraped all the ice off my car so when I had to leave, it was all ready to go! He also always makes sure that I’m covered from shoulder to toes by a blanket, because I get cold so easily.

What about you? I'd love to hear about thoughtful gestures from future husbands!

1. He makes sure dinner is ready and on the table in time for me when I come home from work.
2. He'll scrape off my car when it is frosted over, even if he is running late.
3. He'll meet me at the door when I come home, every time to give me a kiss hello.
4. He heats up my pj's in the dryer so that when I get into the them, they are already warm and toasty.
5. He whispers he loves me right before we fall asleep.
6. He pulls me close and gives me little kisses my neck to wake me up in the morning.
7. He lets me use his robe that I gave him for x-mas
8. He turns the shower on for me in the morning before i'm out of bed.
9. If I randomly forget to wear my ring out, he'll grab my hand and hold on to me at the store and not let go, so no one steals me from him.

I have a million more, but these are the ones I can think of right now.

I just love that my FH always tells me how everything he is doing right now (moving upstate, getting a better job, opening up his buisness..etc.) he is doing it to provide a better life for us. I just love when he tells me that he cant wait to spend the rest of his life with me and how he will cherish every moment. I know it sounds cheesy and a lot of girls hear this (even from guys who just want to get in their pants) but I know my FH means it..and it just gives me a warm feeling when he tells me things like this..

ETA: He also always moves me into the inner side of the sidewalk..he walks on the outside..he always says, 'Dont walk next to the curb, Im not selling you' lmao..and I always respond, 'They cant afford me anyway'

He always asks if he can make my tub for me Its so cute, he puts my fav candle in there, fav bubble bath and A glass of Santa Margarita That is my heaven.He shuts off the lights love you micheal

he sends me cute texs or emails out of the blue when he knows i cant talk on the phone.
he goes out of his way to get me to be ina betteer mood when he knows i have a crappy day.
he gets me flowers for now reason all that time ( out of the blue)
if he goes food shopping and he see something that he knows i want or would like or was craving.. he picks it up for me.
he swaps cars with me when its tie to get my oil changed so that i dont have to wakeup early and drive onmy days off.
the list goes on oand on.. he is so great!! i love him
ETA: oh and he is always telling me how hot he thinks i am.. what a ego booster.

He gave me the best gift in the world...didnt even know i wanted it till the test came back positive.....our daughter Alexa!!!



Also paid for our wedding on his imcome only since im at stay @ home mom!!!

- turns the heat up in house when I am cold even though he is warm and makes sure when we go to sleep that I am covered with the sheet & blanket
- fits everything into the dishwasher perfectly so I do not have to do dishes
- lets me listen to Bon Jovi when we are in the car and a song comes on the radio
- we work together so if we leave late and I have noone to walk to my car with me he waits for me and walks with me to my car
- comes with me to the gas station when I need gas so I do not have to pump it by my self with sleazy guys staring @ me or he will pump it for me!!

and a ton more I can list but won't...... he is the best!!!!!

awwww that is soooo sweet!!!!!!!!!!

He wakes me up in the monring despite the fact that i am the WORST person when it comes to morning. Takes about 30-40 minutes....but he does it every morning

1. wakes up before me and never lets the covers lift off of me when he gets out of bed.

2. starts my car everymorning

3. opens all doors for me

4. pulls out chairs for me

5. affectionate no matter where we are or who we're around.

6. kisses me before he leaves for work and when he gets home

7. cooks for me.....I dont' cook :)

there are soooooo many little things that he does and they are always different.

He's VERY romantic and old fashioned.....LOVE it! :)

I honestly don't know where to begin. Like someone else said, my FH, too, is very old fashioned, affectionate and romantic!!! He truly is just an incredible man!!! This is a small list, because there's so much. He would hate that I'm doing this, because he hates any attention on himself. I can't brag about him when he's around! If I do, he stops me, or tries to ignore it. It's funny!

We never forget to tell each other 'I love you'. There have been many times when he just comes out with it, out of the blue, and says, 'I just love you so much. You just have no idea how much I love you! You're just so cute, and I can't wait to marry you!' And similiar things such as that. He constantly tells me how blessed he is, and how God couldn't have given him anyone better.

He once took a day off, surprised me with a dozen roses, and hand fed me soup when I was home with a stomach bug!

He took off on one of the busiest days of the week where he works(a day he normally can't take off), to take care of me when I was in the hospital, stayed with me, took me home, stayed with me.

He never lets me get gas. He always makes sure it's filled up, and always fills it up for me. He takes care of oil changes, and car maintenance. He works for a Honda dealership, so it's convenient!! LOL

In the winter, if he happens to be at my parents house and it's cold out and snowing, he cleans my car off, scrapes the ice off so I don't have to when I need it. He also does that to everyone elses cars.

He constantly tells me how beautiful I am. Notices my outfits, when I dress nice, and LOVES when I have no makeup on and my hair messy. Can't figure out that one!!!! Since we're waiting til marriage, he said that's one thing that will drive him wild when we do get married!!

He rubs my head if I have a headache.

He'll get up and get me anything if I just ask him. He is always willing to drive the 40 minutes from his house to mine to bring me something if I needed it, even if it's 10 oclock at night and he has to get up at 5 in the morning for work. Of course I never let him, but it's nice to know he would!

He always walks on the outside if we're walking down the street or on a sidewalk, to protect me. He never walks ahead of me.

He always gives me hugs, and loves to cuddle. Loves to hold my hand. Never afraid to show affection in public.

Always willing to help out no matter what. Me, or family. We always make decisions together too!

Always apologizes if needs to. We never go to bed angry, and he's an amazing listener, so that we always talk about problems, and never gets angry with me, so we can talk about it. He's very understanding during that time of the month, and if I'm upset about something, he's always there for me. I couldn't ask for more!

I had an ex who was the complete opposite of the above, so I TRULY count my blessings!!! It was like a 360 when I met FH!!! I had A LOT of insecurities when I met him, because of ex, and he proved his love and trust over and over, and I overcame SO much!

There is so much more, but I'll leave it at that. I don't know what I'd do without him. God outdid Himself when he sent me FH. I'm so thankful for him and his love for me! I can't wait to marry him!!!

OH, and he's told me, 'If you think you're pampered now, wait til you're pregnant!'


OH AND HE MAKES ME LAUGH!!! Sometimes I think if people saw how goofy he is and how silly we act together, they'd lock us up! We just have so much fun sometimes. When I'm in a mood, he just makes me laugh and I feel better. He's always good at getting me out of a bad mood!!

EDITED: I brought FH dinner at work tonight, cause he had to stay late. We left together, and talked on the phone on the way to our homes. We were talking about how we can't wait to get married and just be together. No more seperate homes, etc. So he starts saying how he can't wait to come home to me. He said, 'Most husbands can't wait to go home, grab a beer, and sit on the couch and watch TV. A lot of guys at work say that. Me, I can't wait to be able to go home to you.' WOW!

He gets me coffee (my favorite). He rubs my back and sometimes my feet when I get home from work (i'm a RN). He makes me dinner on days I am working and he is off. Being with him just makes me happy

He thinks about me with every decision he makes.

There are no grand romantic gestures... but he is an amazing human being.

When I need a break.. I want to go to my girlfriend's house and chill out with a bottle of wine and no kids - he doesn't question or condemn me. He just kisses me and has a great time with his boys.

When I want to sleep in, he keeps the boys out of the room and will often take them to the deli to buy breakfast sandwiches so I don't have ot make breakfast.

He ALWAYS cleans the dog poop from the yard because I don't like to.

He warms my car up for me on cold days so I don't have to.

He rubs my shoulders after a bad day... even when he KNOWS he isn't getting any!

He plays Hi Ho Cherrio, Hullabaloo and Chutes and Ladders on Game night without even FLINCHING.

He always pours my glass of wine FIRST.

He will send me pretty sunrise pics that he took to me in the morning, brings me flowers for no reason and always points out that they are my favorite ones ( )
He just has a knack for knowing if I need something before I actually do. I wuv him
