You can try: http://www.nycityweddings.com/planning/marriage_license/
That lists New York city offices. For more offices, you can type the name of the area you would like to use. We went to Manhasset (which was very pleasant--if you can go there, I recommend it). So I searched for the North Hempstead town clerk page, which is at this link http://www.northhempstead.com/content/4441/4449/default.aspx

we went to Brookhaven Town Hall. It was surprisingly easy and quick. THe new location is the old Allstate Building right off of North Ocean Avenue in Farmingville.

We went to smithtown town hall. My only suggestion, bring your birth certificate, your license and your ss card. Or call ahead, different town halls require different documentation!

We went to queens county court house, only need your Drivers license but it took almost 3 hours they are so slow and the lines were huge.

We went to queens county court house, only need your Drivers license but it took almost 3 hours they are so slow and the lines were huge.
We went to Kew Gardens too and it was awful. It took about the same time for us and we went in late January when NO ONE gets married. Don't go there!

Smithtown... we were there 5 minutes and four other couples came in. It's never that busy.
Yes, bring a few forms of ID. and if one of you was married before you need to bring the divorce decree.

We went to hempstead town hall and it was super quick and super easy. there was noone waiting before us. the people were really nice also.
