Re: What months are more cost effective???

Jan/ Feb/ and March where the best prices that I got. Friday night and Sundays where also cheaper times to get married. When I started looking I had an open mind. I took what worked best with me and my hall and was able to get an amazing price. Good Luck!!

Re: What months are more cost effective???

If you want a summer wedding like I did, we are doing the day after 4th of July!!! it was MUCH less than a friday and saturday and we got exactly where we wanted in the time we wanted....and most people usually take off either the week of july 4th or some time for the long weeekend after it.....most of our guests are thrilled and just making the week of our wedding their vacation.....Nice thing is most of our bridal party has off the 4th so our RD and all that is easy for everyone to get to.
Some brides also do the day before the 4th bec then everyone has the next day off, that's nice too!

Re: What months are more cost effective???

I agree w/ the above. Jan. & Feb. are the cheapest months. I had originally thought that having it on a friday night or sunday would save a lot, but some places it was almost the same price as a saturday afternoon (we didnt' even get prices for saturday evening, too much $). We picked Nov. 24, 07. FH was set on NO hot weather for the wedding and I wanted fall. For Nov. 07, sat. afternoon, I got prices ranging from $60-$85 pp. HTH!!
