FH has no clue what he and his mom want to dance to. She likes Louis Armstrong, so maybe 'What a Wonderful World'

Dad and I are debating this issue. He is a musician and has played so many weddings that he doesn't want to dance to one of the popular ones. We are considering 'The Very Thought of You', 'For Sentimental Reasons', 'You Make Me Feels So Young' or 'That's Amore'

I love For Sentimental Reasons !!!!

It was a toss up between that, Jim Reeves - I Love You Because and Mark Wills - In My Arms.

Hmmm...I was thinking of dancing to Billy Joel 'Just the Way You Are' with my dad because I always remember him singing that when I was little, but hadn't told him. He emailed me the other day with a link and a subject of 'A Song for Us' Of course it was Daddy's Little Girl, which is very traditional. I was going to tell him no and then I thought, well maybe he's been thinking about this for a very long time, maybe even since I was born .

So, I said okay--If that's what he wants, then that's what we'll do. I'm sure I'm going to bawl whatever we dance to!

Don't know what the mother/son dance will be but the father/daughter dance will be :
Lullabye by Billy Joel
This is a song my father would play and sing for me when I was younger. It reminds me of how special he always makes me feel

We had a mother/son/father/daughter dance - all in one. We chose Lullabye by Billy Joel. For those of you who are taking dance lessons, it's a rumba.

I danced with my Dad to 'Daddys Little Girl' by Al Martino. My dad sang that song to me all the time when I was little, so it was a given it would be our song. I cried the entire time, and he sang the entire song to me. it was one of the best moments of my wedding

DH danced to 'I am your child' by Barry Manilow. It was perfect, a beautiful son/mom song. (I cried during that one too)

I am dancing with my dad to 'Daddy's little girl'. My dad has always talked about dancing to that song at my wedding since I was really young. As far as mother/son dance - still working on that one.
