Mine is Children of the Corn - I saw it when I was younger and it freaked me out - I still refuse to watch it.

mine would be the shining and the exorcist..i didn't even see the whole exorcist just up to the part where her head spins and i lost it and shut it off

And, when I was younger, Buffy The Vampire Slayer... I had nightmares of PeeWee Herman doing that scene in the end where he just won't die... They went on for weeks!...

I cried throughout the entire Blair Witch Project.
I know a lot of people thought it was a cheesy movie, but there was something about going camping in the woods, miles away from civilization, helpless and at the mercy of a lunatic that really upset me. It was a long time before I could go camping again...
ETA: And the Exorcist, of course. Possessed children are just WRONG.

I've seen it numerous times and know exactly what is going to happen .. but I simply cannot watch the Exorcist by myself. It is still the scariest movie I've ever seen

Blair Witch & Silence of the Lambs...scared the hell out of me.
When i was little, i had to leave the theater after my mom took me to see E.T, thats how hard i was crying :( It scared me when his neck shot up and he yells...OK, it STILL scares me a little, lol...

okay, I will never feel this kind of fear for a movie ever again, but the Blair Witch Project kept me up at night. Me and DH go to the movies late on a sunday night, we missed most shows, so I see Blair Witch and say how about that my brother said it is suppose to be good, so we go in it is an empty movie, DH and I had no idea it was fake!!! I could not breathe. lol. I wanted to leave, we were discussing how much the families made off this movie, and if the families could even bare to watch movie. We felt so silly (3 days later) when we realized it was fiction
