the aisle to? And what are song are you using for your recessional music?

I walked down to Evergreen-it's an old Barbara Streistand song.
Our recessional was Spring Vivaldi.
All of our ceremony music was played on piano & flute, no vocals

We used Wagner's Bridal Chorus (here comes the bride). Something about that organ intro...it gives me goosebumps!

Evergreen, pretty. Nice choice

I want the traditional 'Here Comes the Bride'-my bp will probably walk down to 'Canon in D'-I love that song.

I like Canon in D as well but i am wondering how they play it at a church since it is recorded with strings???

What about Ave maria, i stil think this song is beautiful a bit depressing but still nice, is it used at all?

Tara-we are using Ave Maria to present roses to the 'Blessed Mary' statue-it is an Italian tradition which signifies healthy children.

Tara, I had Canon played on the piano (not a big fan of organ music) in church, and it was beautiful!

I wanted down to the theme from Life is Beautiful, Bonjourno Princessepessa. I hired Janet King to play the harp during our ceremony. The music was so beautiful. I didn't want the traditional Here Comes the Bride played.

I'm either going to walk down to forest gump suite (it was our first date!) or the opera song from Hannibal. Not sure about walking back, so suggestions would be great!

We had a string quartet - we had them play Canon in D for DH's parents and BP, and then Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring for me - I LOVE that piece!

Our recessional was Arrival of the Queen of Sheba. It was perfect - upbeat and cheerful

The bridal party walked to Canon in D and I walked with my parents to Air on a G String by Bach. You can listen to ceremony songs on wedalert.com. That's how I picked them.
