What MUST you have...

..in a Photo package??

I see so many packages....so many different things that are offered...

Just wanna get thoughts on what SHOULD be included..like MUST have things.

Our album, parents' albums and all proofs on cd. Engagement photo shoot and all proofs on cd and a bunch of portraits.

I forget how many you get but thomas paul gives you tons of stuff and a huge bride and groom album.

a photographer that has a diverse style knowledge, it's cool to have photo journalistic pics and candid shots, but you might want some traditional ones with family.

a good rapport with the photographer :) because if you dont like him/her you probably wont appreciate the work

I personally dont think the parents albums are needed because I think you can make them online yourself.

All Proofs Included (tangible)
All Proofs on High Res DVD
All Thank You Cards Included
No Overtime Charge
If it rains day of the wedding, I get an extra day of shooting

I love that the photog comes to my house THREE hours before my ceremony. After the ceremony, we will go to any location that we decide on, and then off to the reception (which is on the water, so a ton more pics will be taken as well!)

same here ...
i actually didn't want any albums included because they just add to the cost and if i have the rights to my pictures, then i can just make my own album on the internet for myself & parents for much cheaper!

i really wanted 2 photogs... my sister only had 1 and he was awesome... but he was running around like a chicken with his head off...

Those were my must-haves as well. Definitely needed parent albums, a big album for us, proofs on a CD and all rights to the photos. Once you have the 'rights' to the photos, you can print however many you want from CVS, Walgreens, etc.
